Diana Wynne Jones

Dear Ms. Diana, Thank you for all your stories and books. Thank you for being you. The worlds you have introduce me to not only made me laugh, think and want to learn, but to never give up. Every time I finished one of your books, I kept wishing I had learned of them long ago (or at least let me be older so I could read when your books came out). It take forever to track down one of your older books, but they were always worth the effort and the price. Your book was one of the only books I ever contemplated not returning to the library and just pay the enormous fines for, but alas, I so wanted other people to have a chance to learn to love and cry over a story that touched my heart (and I didn't want to get the Super Librarian mad at me). I will miss you tons and tons, and I am so sorry I was never able to tell you how much you have changed my life in person. You will be dearly missed.

mini update, mini loss

My little bird passed away. He was even older than my puppydogs. All my pets have passed away in less than a year.

I thought this was supposed to be a good year, but I guess times of change often brings unexpected heartaches.

Besides worrying about personal finances, family relations and health, current world politics and disasters both natural and human, now...I just wonder when I can find the time to mourn for my own losses.

Earthquake in the East

I hope all my friends in Japan are ok. Can barely sleep once I heard about the massive earthquake.

All my friends and family in neighboring countries, please also be safe.

Already March

I'm very sorry for disappearing again, but this time, I've decided to push through.

My other Baby passed away. My sister's cute little doggy passed away at home last month. It is still a huge shock to everyone. Despite his age and many health problems, Baby had continued to be an active puppy-like dog. His temper never diminished and his appetite only grew, much like this beloved chubby belly. At least, Baby and Wawa are finally back together again...

I'd like to say I'm okay, but I'm really not sure. It's very mixed and confused, so currently all shoved inside to be dealt with at a later time.

I had been preparing some very much belated book reviews of the few books when this happened, so please hang in there and don't give up on me yet.

I'll miss my heart and soul:
